How Can Smoking Destroy Your Lungs

Smoking is a major public health problem, because about half of million deaths per year  in the united states are due to smoking. These deaths happen is the result of cancers, breathing problems, strokes, and many other smoke related health problem.

Smoking cause an even higher number of disabilities, pain, and suffering from different diseases

There are thousands of chemicals found in cigarettes and when you drag on a cigarette you are taking them all into your body.  The lungs function is to take in what you inhale and send it to your bloodstream which sends what you inhale to all of your organs. This is why smoking not only harms the lungs, it causes major malfunctions throughout the body.

The addictive ingrdient in cigarette smoke is nicotine. Nicotine is very addictive. The nicotine is quickly absorbed into the bloodstream;within 30 second of entering the body, it reaches the brain, it cause the brain release special chemicals that make feelings of pleasure and energy. One of these chemical are called epinephrine.

Beside nicotine smoke include carbon monoxide, exposure this carbon can increases the risk of developing heart diseases.

One of the most harmful things you are taking in is tar. Many people think that when you inhale and then blow the smoke out that most of the substance is exhaled, but actually only about 10% leaves the body. That means that 90% of what you inhale stays in there!

As if having all that stuff in there wasn’t bad enough… when the lungs are clogged with so much tar and other chemicals they are not able to function properly and this causes oxygen to become more difficult for the lungs to send to your body. When you smoke you are starving your body of oxygen and eventually you will see the health reciprocations.

When a person smoke, its not only affect the smoker but also the people who are exposed to the smoke, anyone nearby when a person is smoking breathes in the smoke that is exhaled from the smoker, as well as the some that come  from cigarette, cigar or pipe. This is known as seconghand smoke.

There are so many problem can appear when you are smokin, not only for the smoker but also for the people who are exposed to the smoke

So stop to smoking, keep your lung still health and your life will be more qualified
