Learn more about stress and its consequences, control will have a HEALTHY LIFE
We all know that stress is inextricably linked to society today, from school children to teach us that we need to excel and for that we are in constant competition, get the best grades, be a prominent athlete, learning a second or even third language, all this seems good, however, this desire to compete and win takes us from small to feel some degree of stress.
Of course, every time we grow our responsibilities increase as well, in our work we seek to be among the foremost and always in some way enter into competition within the company! And also between companies!
The accumulation of stress first affects us mentally, we feel as tired, lacking energy, with more sleep. After attacking and physical level, we realize that the muscles of the neck, shoulders and back are too rigid and really experience a little pain that will increase as the days go by. in our lives, many demands of our life or life goals that we want to achieve, and sometimes there are constraints when we want to achieve these demands or goals, so this is can make confused, depressed, irritable, and even stress can occur. Stress is a response to a person’s body when faced with multiple demands / problems in life. Demands or problems can come from external / outside (such as outstanding loans, the burden of work, friends, relationships with spouse, or learning problems, and so on), or it could be from internal / own mind (i.e. not satisfied with myself).
The increasing demands and necessities of life will be something better, make the individual do competing to get what they want. But in fact sometimes, what we want it’s not suitable with the real, so it can cause confusion, daydreaming to stress.
Stress that occurs in each individual varies depending on the problems faced and the ability to resolve the issue or commonly called the coping used. If the problem can be solved by either the individual is happy, whereas if the problem can not be resolved properly can cause the individual’s anger, frustration to depression.
How do we handle that stress? The following are some tips to overcome stress that might be useful when we experience stress;
1. Try a nap
With a little nap about 30-45 minutes will be able to refresh our bodies, including the condition of our minds. There are some famous people who use a nap to handle stress, namely Edison, John F. Kennedy.
2. Massage
We can massage the muscles of the neck and shoulders; ask your spouse or friend to massage him.
3. Express yourself with art
Try to be creative and able to divert energy positively. If you can play musical instruments, painting, or writing poetry, you try to do things to reduce stress. Music is one medium that can reduce stress well. Read the rest of this entry »
