Smoker & Sexual Impotence

We’ve all heard say that snuff decreased sexual potency in men and infertility in the case of women. In fact there are different campaigns against a snuff that vividly wanted to relay this idea. If you want to see some of these creative images click here, here or here.

The negative effects that the snuff is well known by all: respiratory diseases, cardiovascular diseases and cancers. Unfortunately for cigar smokers rather implies another negative consequence: it produces erectile dysfunction.

This impotence can be caused by several factors such as depression, anxiety, diabetes, drugs and snuff. Consider that this dysfunction directly affects the self esteem of men and also their relationship with their partner.

Impotence caused by the cigarette is due to circulatory problems. The snuff reduces penile blood pressure, and damages other body functions that are involved in the erectile process as the brain, lungs and nerves.

Studies have shown that smokers have higher risk of sexual impotence, more exactly 50% higher chance that a non-smoker of the same age. In addition to this “minor inconvenience” sperm quality drops considerably, therefore, it makes it difficult to fertilize the egg, causing fertility problems.

The prototype film where the hero appears as a sex symbol with a cigar in his hand and went out of fashion, Or at least we now have clear it has no basis in reality. So, ladies smoking, here is another reason to quit once and for all the cigarette.
